My research interests include (1) understanding physical processes of the interannual ocean variability, (2) numerical modeling of ocean circulation and ocean data assimilation (3) assessment of model errors and quantifying the ocean predictability. The overall objective of my current projects is to better understand the dynamical processes that govern day-to-decade variability of the Labrador Sea.
