External Participants and Interests

As indicated above, the NRC Institute for Marine Dynamics is interested in co-operating in this programme. Indeed, Dr. E. Baddour of the IMD taught a graduate course in high performance computing in the 1995-96 academic year.

A number of organizations (Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc; Newtel Information Solutions; Wuerz Publishing Ltd.; Compusult, Ltd; Canpolar East, Inc.) have already indicated that they would be interested in hiring co-op students, and some others have indicated interest and a willingness to participate otherwise in the programme.

The following individuals wish to participate.

Research Interests: computational hydrodynamics, fluid/structure interactions, high performance computing, computer simulations

Department of Fisheries and Oceans

Research Interests:

Atlantic Canada Organization of Research Networks

Research Interests: industrial application of high performance computing, performance evaluation, optimization, broadband networking, meta-computing.
