MUN Earth and Human Systems Sustainability Initiative

This is a temporary website for the initiative. The loose basis of unity for this initiative is the following:

Guiding question: What can we do at MUN to increase societal capacity to deal with highly interlocking global environmental issues?

This can include teaching, research, outreach/public education/dialogue, policy development, integrating social and environmental sustainability into University culture/practice, ...

If you want to join a community of diverse individuals actively persuing this question, please subscribe to the listserv, as this is our primary and up to date means of communication:

To subscribe, send an email to: listserv@CLIFFY.UCS.MUN.CA, with the body of the message set to:

subscribe ESSi-L your first and last name (won't just accept a single name)

Leave the subject and rest of the body blank.

You will then be sent a confirmation from the listserv.

Once you are subscribed, messages can simply be sent to ESSi-L@CLIFFY.UCS.MUN.CA Note, the only requirements for message acceptance are subscription to the list and inclusion of a non-blank subject.
