Fall 2021: Instructor - Lev Tarasov - lev@mun.ca

The course will focus on the application of physics to understanding our natural environment. Key topics include: the basic physics of the climate system (including "what determines temperature?"), how has climate changed, what should we do about it, what is the physics underlying energy conversion and transmission, and how to make energy conversion and use more sustainable. With the current pandemic, we will also consider how physics applies to airborne pandemics.

The instructor for this course is Professor Lev Tarasov (lev@mun.ca) whose office is in C-4043.
