Fall 2017: Instructor - Lev Tarasov - lev@mun.ca

The course will focus on the basic physical principles of light, heat, energy and sound in the natural environment. Several key aspects of physics in the environment will be covered including climate and the physical evolution of the planet and the present role of the atmosphere and ocean. Principles of energy generation will be explored. The pollution transport in the atmosphere and ocean and the role of turbulent mixing and advective transport may be discussed.
