Hello All !

I have no idea how You got here but since You already arrived maybe You could have a look around. My name is Marek Bromberek and I am a PhD candidate in Physics at Memorial University of Newfoundland. This is my web page however I did not constructed the whole thing myself. I got the template from Hoover Web Templates which offers free web templates as a courtesy to their site visitors. I am using it as a learning tool and have to say that it was fun. Eventually I plan to redo my webpage using Cascading Stylesheets but It might take a while.

On the left hand side You see a small menu. I beleve that the content of each of the links is obvious from its name. So if You want to read about some physics I do in Dept of Physics at MUN You go to Research section and so on.

"Up to now, most scientists have been too occupied with the development of new theories that describe what the universe is to ask the question why? On the other hand, the people whose business it is to ask why, the philosophers, have not been able to keep up with the advance of scientific theories. "

Stephen W. Hawking

in "A Brief History of Time"

"... If we do discover a complete theory, it should in time be understandable in broad principle by everyone, not just a few scientists. Than we shall all, philosophers, scientists, and just ordinary people, be able to take part in the discussion of why it is that we and the universe exist. If we find the answer to that, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason - for then we would know the mind of God. "

Stephen W. Hawking

in "A Brief History of Time"

"I have little patience with scientists who take a board of wood, look for its thinnest part and drill a great number of holes where drilling is easy."

~ Albert Einstein
