Memorial's Cryogenic Facility

In 2001, Memorial installed a STIRLIN-1 nitrogen liquefier to serve users throughout the University community. Dr. Mary Goldman of Aurum Research sent the following message to mark the commissioning of the new liquefier:

    Aurum Research and Stirling Cryogenics would like to congratulate Memorial University on the opening of the Cryogenic Facility. Your new StirLIN-1 is a showcase, in Canada, for the new generation of Stirling's liquid nitrogen plants.

    We are proud of our long and continued association with Memorial University.
