People (undergraduate and graduate students, and post-doctoral researchers) have come from close and from far (Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Argentina, Bangladesh, China, India, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Japan, Jordan, Spain, Venezuela) to work in the Soft Matter Lab and learn a combination of experimental techniques and analytical tools.

- Jul 11, 2018. Somayeh Khajehpour Tadavani successfully defends her PhD thesis - congratulations Dr. Tadavani!
- Jun, 2018. Yanitza Trosel was a winner (2nd place) in the Division of Physics in Medicine and Biology (DPMB) student poster presentations at the Canadian Association of Physicists Congress (CAP 2018) held in Halifax this June. Congratulations Yanitza! Shivani, Venketesh and Yanitza all presented their work at both the CAP, and at the Soft Matter Canada (SMC 2018) symposium.
